Lisa is a voice director and casting director in the world of animation. Some of her credits are Kim Possible, Guardians of the Galaxy, Teen Titans Go!, and The Penguins of Madagascar, to name a few. In this episode, Lisa details what the voice-over world is like on the other side of the sound booth. She reflects on Kim Possible being the first animation series she directed and how amazing the cast they brought into the show was. Then, Christy and Will recount their experiences voicing Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable. Lisa also shares her journey into the world of animation and how directing is the best job ever! In addition, she highlights her mentors and reflects on her one-of-a-kind experiences in the sound booth. Finally, Lisa also speaks about what she sees occurring in animation's future. Christy has been a working actress and singer since she was 6 years old. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 14 to star in the Disney Channel franchise, Even Stevens as Ren Stevens alongside Shia LaBeouf. Christy enjoyed many years with Disney gaining an Emmy nomination for her voice work as Kim Possible and starring on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast. She went on to balance her college career at Barnard College, Columbia University with filming movies for ABC Family including: ‘Campus Confidential’, ‘Taking Five’, ‘The Cutting Edge 2: Going for the Gold’, and ‘The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream’. Christy returned to Broadway in her mid twenties and learned to be a puppeteer in the Tony-Award winning ‘Avenue Q’. Christy was married to her husband on New Years Eve , 2013 in Banff, Canada after having met in a screenwriting class in college. She became impassioned with directing and made her debut in Lionsgate’s “Christmas All Over Again”. While she still works as an actress, she enjoys living in Austin, Texas with her husband, Brendan Rooney, and daughters, Isabella and Sophia. About Will Friedle: Will Friedle’s extensive career has spanned three decades in sitcoms, movies, animated series and video games. He has brought to life roles as diverse as the iconic underachieving older brother Eric Matthews on the classic TV sitcom Boy Meets World and the Batman of the future in Batman Beyond. He can currently be heard in roles on DC Super Hero Girls, Big Hero 6 and numerous other animated projects. Will began his career in 1986 on stage and in numerous commercials. In 1988 he started as a co-host for Nickelodeon’s Don’t Just Sit There which lasted for three seasons. From 1993-2000, he took Eric Matthews from high school through college on the smash it Boy Meets World. During filming Boy, Will also starred in many classic movies. Will is also a prolific VO actor having done hundreds of animated projects over his almost 30 year career in animation.
